Wonderful Inositol Health Benefits

Introduction: Inositol Powder Supplement
I have been using Inositol Powder for over a year now and I love it. I found the following health benefits information online.

Inositol is found in your body as a form of sugar. It is also found in some foods and in supplement form. The human body needs inositol to develop and grow cells. Also, research has found out that inositol may have many other potential health benefits. Inositol is also used for metabolic syndrome and polycystic ovary syndrom (PCOS) and for other health conditions.

Inositol Explained:
The  human body naturally produces a form of sugar called inositol. The human body produces inositol to provide structure for the body's cells. Certain foods like meat, fruits, corn, beans, grains and legumes contain inositol. The typical diet in America contains 1 gram of inositol daily. Researchers have discovered that there may be many benefitsl for good health when taking an inositol supplement.

A frequently used name for inositol is vitamin B8, but it is not really a vitamin. Research has shown that inositol has many functions in the body like playing a role in the development of human cells, membranes and insulin. Inositol also has an effect on certain chemical messengers in the human brain which enables the body to manage metabolic and mental health conditoin.

Inositol is commonly known as Myo-inositol, D-chiro-inositol and Inositol hexaphosphate in different supplement forms. The inositol powder that I use, which is a white powder that looks like powdered sugar and tastes like sugar, is called Myo-inositol.

Benefits of Inositol:
  • Lowers the risk of metabolic syndrome.
  • Relieves the symptoms of polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS).
  • Reduces the risk of gestational diabetes and preterm birth.
  • It lowers high cholesterol
  • It helps your body to process insulin
  • It can relieve the symptoms of depression and other mood disorders.
