Prickly Lettuce: A Plant with So Many Health Benefits

You can look up its health benefits on Google. Prickly lettuce has a cluster of unopened blooms on the very top of this very tall plant (6 to 7 feet). Once a tiny yellow flower opens, it stays open for less than an hour and then retreats to make its seed. If you don't get up early to see its tiny yellow flower, you will miss its blooming. Once it develops its bloom clusters, it stops growing in height. Each plant, including prickly lettuce, has different characteristics to protect itself from predators.
